Our local grocery store was holding an "Autumn Scavenger Hunt" (Guess we don't call it Halloween now? In a flyer Arianna brought home from school, a different place in town was holding a "Fall-o-ween" kid party.)
We almost didn't go. I really didn't feel like dressing them up for the grocery store, but decided during breakfast we could go check it out.
They didn't pass out candy. I thought Arianna might be disappointed, but she was happy about getting all the things she got.
Double win. The kids had a great time, plus they got a lunch while there.
