Magic Peanuts

At Cedar Point earlier, there was a magic/dance show that we wanted to watch. But of course Sarah was napping.  And you couldn't bring strollers into the theater.  I didn't want anyone else to miss out on the show, so I took one for the team, and skipped it to stay out with my sleeping girl.

As soon as the doors to the theater shut, Sarah sat up with a cry.  Figures.  Trying not to be too bummed out about this, we took a walk and came across a kid friendly hanuted house that I didn't even know was there.  It was just a bunch of silly things... Fun house mirrors, alligators in bathtubs, nails on beds, a table spinning.  Sarah clung to me tightly the whole way, but I'm not sure if it was because she was really scared, or if she was still trying to wake up from her nap.  As we stepped back outside into the bright afternoon sun, a couple of vampires were handing out bags of candy, and out on the Spook Stage, some of the Peanuts characters were on singing and dancing to Thriller, and other Halloween songs.

I stopped feeling bad for myself, for missing out on the other show.  Sarah was enjoying herself so much, and I was enjoying just being there with her.  Plus, the show was cute.

By the time I took this last picture, I had completely forgotten about the magic show.  But this Peanuts show?  One of the best, but mainly just because of who kept me company.  <3
